Code of conduct

INGRAW2019 is an academic conference intended for networking and collaboration among rese researchers, academicians, practitioners, government officers, graduate students, NGOs and others. INGRAW2019 aims to be a welcoming event, where people meet in a friendly environment. Accordingly, we expect that all participants are expected to show respect and courtesy to other participants throughout the conference.

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

Participants are encouraged to respect and celebrate cultural and linguistic differences, and to be mindful of the international nature of our community in preparing presentations and engaging in conversation. There is no place at INGRAW2019 for harassment or intimidation based on race, religion, ethnicity, language, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, physical or cognitive ability, age, appearance, or other group status. Unsolicited physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, and bullying behaviour are likewise unacceptable.

Author’s Responsibilities

  1. Authors are advised to follow ethical norms regarding plagiarism and self-plagiarism thoroughly before submitting and must make sure that their submissions do not substantially overlap work which has been published elsewhere or simultaneously submitted to a journal or another conference with proceedings. Papers that contain any form of plagiarism will be rejected without reviews.
  2. Submissions must represent new and original work. Concurrent submissions are not allowed. INGRAW2019 will not accept any paper that, at the time of submission, is under review for or has already been published, or accepted for publication, in a journal or another venue with formally published proceedings. As a rule of thumb, authors should regard any publication with an ISBN or ISSN as a formal publication.
  3. Authors have a responsibility to alert the conference chairs should they wish to retract the research after if it has been accepted or published. The retraction statement should clearly explain why the authors believe that the research should be retracted.
  4. The authors are responsible for ensuring that the data they have used is available to other researchers and that the authors have the right to use that data.
  5. Accepted refereed papers must be presented at the conference by an author who is registered to attend. We require at least one author of every accepted submission to register by the early-bird deadline (specifically, one registered author may present multiple papers at the conference). Authors will be required to agree to this requirement at the time of submission.
  6. To receive a program certificate of completion, you must attend the entire program. A certificate of participation is granted to each participant upon completion of the two days’ conference.
